Man, you’ve got Node 101 postcards and everything. You’re very professional… I’m starting a Node 101 in Brighton. I launched it off the back of the screening and a few people put their names down and said they wanted to attend. I’m pretty excited about it.
Oh I would love to come and meet the Phoenix video blogging community, maybe help me come out of my shell a little more. But alas, I’ve already got plans for the Phoenix Symphony that night. Have fun though!
@Beth – those postcards were my genius investment. For $120 I got 1,000 postcards that explain what node101phoenix.org is about. But I left room for an address or further information. So I can either send them to a mailing list for general promotion, or I can add a segment of new information by printing it on an address label. I made 50 labels and took them to TweetUpAZ this Saturday and gave one to everyone I spoke to as a personal invitation. I’ll let you know if it attracts more than my usual crowd. I’ve got about 500 postcards left, so my initial purchase has lasted over a year. I could easily customize the graphics for you and send you a file that you could use on flyers or anything else. Let me know if you’d like that.
@Sheree – Hmm. We’ll have to work on this distance thing! Find a way to get together!
@Bradly – I will be sure to invite you to our next shindig. And I’ll try to give more notice.
@Deb – don’t worry, I’ll do it again! But I won’t have gallery resources again until March. We’ve sublet it as studio space for February’s First Friday – there will be a big installation in there! I’m so excited to see it!
